Shipping Policy
This shipping policy applies when a seller mails a device to CellularPort Buyback for review.
Last updated: June 13, 2026
Before You Ship
- Include your name, phone number, email, and buyback reference number inside the package.
- Remove personal data, SIM cards, memory cards, passwords, account locks, Find My iPhone, Samsung account lock, Google account lock, and MDM profiles before shipping.
- Photograph the device and package before mailing for your records.
- Do not ship swollen, leaking, punctured, overheating, or otherwise unsafe batteries.
Packaging and Carrier Responsibility
- Use a sturdy box, padding, and secure tape so the device does not move inside the package.
- Use a trackable shipping method and keep the tracking number until the transaction is complete.
- Unless CellularPort provides a written prepaid label or separate shipping instructions, the seller is responsible for shipping costs, insurance, and carrier claims.
- Risk of loss or damage remains with the sender until the package is delivered to and accepted by CellularPort.
Inspection Timing
- Inspection begins after CellularPort receives the package and confirms the submission reference.
- Processing can be delayed by missing reference information, poor packaging, device locks, incomplete ID verification, carrier issues, or mismatched device details.
- Payment is issued only after the device is inspected and approved.
Rejected Devices and Return Shipping
- Devices may be rejected if they are locked, blacklisted, reported lost or stolen, financed, unsafe, mismatched, counterfeit, or materially different from the submission.
- If a device is rejected or the seller declines a revised offer, return shipping may be the seller's responsibility unless CellularPort agrees otherwise in writing.
- CellularPort may require identity confirmation before returning a device.
