Privacy Policy

This policy explains how CellularPort Buyback may collect and use information submitted through the portal, including phone numbers used for buyback updates and optional SMS messaging.

Information We Collect

  • We may collect contact details, shipping details, device details, uploaded device photos, seller identity photos, quote details, and communication preferences.
  • We use seller information to review devices, prevent fraud, provide quotes, send buyback status updates, process payout preferences, and respond to support requests.
  • Server logs may record technical details such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, timestamps, and error information.

SMS Consent and Mobile Information

  • SMS consent is optional and is not required to submit a buyback request.
  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
  • Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Text HELP for assistance or STOP to opt out.

Service Providers

  • We may use service providers to host the portal, store submissions, deliver messages, manage customer communications, support fraud prevention, and process operational workflows.
  • Service providers may only use information as needed to provide services to CellularPort and should not use SMS opt-in data for their own marketing.
  • We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the transaction, or to respond to suspected fraud, stolen-device concerns, chargebacks, or legal process.

Choices and Support

  • You may reply STOP to SMS messages to opt out of future text messages from the sending number.
  • You may reply HELP for assistance or contact CellularPort at buyback@cellularport.com or (832) 475-9896.
  • You may use browser controls to manage cookies and may contact CellularPort with privacy questions about a buyback submission.
