Seller Eligibility and Ownership

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to sell the device.
  • You certify that you are the lawful owner or authorized seller of every device submitted.
  • CellularPort may require government ID, proof of ownership, carrier details, IMEI/serial information, or other verification before approving a purchase.
  • Stolen, lost, blacklisted, counterfeit, financed, account-locked, activation-locked, or law-enforcement-held devices are not eligible.

Quotes, Inspection, and Final Approval

  • Online quotes are estimates only and are not final offers, guarantees, or promises to purchase.
  • Final value depends on physical inspection, model, storage, carrier status, activation lock status, blacklist status, repair history, parts condition, and actual cosmetic or functional condition.
  • CellularPort may approve, revise, reject, or return a device if the submitted information is incomplete, inaccurate, or different from inspection results.
  • No buyback transaction is final until CellularPort approves the device and issues payment.

Seller Responsibilities

  • Remove passcodes, iCloud, Find My iPhone, Activation Lock, Samsung account lock, Google account lock, MDM profiles, SIM cards, memory cards, and all personal data before shipping or drop-off.
  • Back up anything you want to keep before submitting the device. CellularPort is not responsible for photos, contacts, files, apps, accounts, messages, or other data left on a device.
  • Package devices safely and comply with carrier rules for devices with lithium batteries.
  • Do not submit any device that you know or suspect is stolen, lost, blacklisted, financed, locked, or not legally yours to sell.

Revised Offers, Rejections, and Returns

  • If inspection changes the estimated value, CellularPort may issue a revised offer or reject the device.
  • If a rejected or revised device needs to be returned, the seller may be responsible for return shipping unless CellularPort agrees otherwise in writing.
  • Devices that are suspected stolen, fraudulent, blacklisted, or connected to illegal activity may be held, rejected, reported, or handled as required by law.
  • CellularPort may refuse service or cancel a buyback request for incomplete verification, suspicious activity, unsafe packages, or policy violations.

Limitations of Liability

  • To the fullest extent allowed by law, CellularPort is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, loss of use, business interruption, or carrier delay.
  • CellularPort's total liability for a buyback request is limited to the final approved purchase amount for the device at issue, except where a different limit is required by applicable law.
  • CellularPort is not responsible for loss, delay, theft, or damage while a package is in transit before delivery and acceptance by CellularPort.
  • Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot be limited under applicable law.

No Warranty and Site Availability

  • The portal is provided as available and may be updated, paused, or changed without notice.
  • CellularPort does not guarantee that every device will receive a quote, be accepted, or qualify for payment.
  • Information on the portal may be updated to correct errors, pricing changes, or operational requirements.

Governing Law

  • These terms are intended to be governed by Texas law, except where another law is required to apply.
  • Any venue or dispute language should be reviewed by counsel before final publication.
